Nothing new

I haven’t posted in a while! I have been busy as usual: lots of work (22/23 days in a row), my parents came in to town for a few days, and I’ve been stitching. I’m almost through with the first part of “Pompeji” (saving the beads for last) and I ‘m ready to start a new part. I’ve also been working on “My Huge Secret Project” quite a bit. It’s coming along but it’s still going to take forever! The fish are fine, I have eight now and the seem to like their new home. I have one more color that I want to get but they haven’t had any recently.

That’s about it for now…like I said…nothing new!

Just checkin’ in…

Well, I have been a little busy lately but did manage to stitch on both “My Huge Secret Project” and “Pompeji” a little. Hopefully this week will be slow and I can just sit around a bit. I haven’t done that in a while!

Today is my best friend’s birthday, so we are off to eat at Outback Steakhouse. Um-um good! I don’t know how well that’s going to fit into my diet plan, but it’s a special day so I’m going!

SparkPeople Rocks!

I have found a new website (thanks to a friend) called “SparkPeople.com”. It’s a full-service diet site with meal plans, goal tracking, exercise programs, motivating articles, and lots of other stuff. It’s fun, has lots of useful information, and if you are wanting to lose some weight or just get healthier, check it out!

I have done very little stitching the last few days. As soon as I’m done on the computer I’m going to sit for a while and work on “My Huge Secret Project”. Maybe it will be quiet at work tonight with all this bad weather and I can work on “Pompeji” a little as well.

Not much going on

I just finished four days at work so I haven’t been doing much else. Working nights is like being a vampire. I’m tired during the day after my work days so all I did today was play on the computer, walk/jog 2.1 miles, and stitch for about 30 minutes on “Augusta”. We went to eat Greek food after stitching and had fun watching everyone try some new food. I have acquired a strange craving for hummus lately, something I’ve never eaten until about 2-3 weeks ago. It’s packed with protein and it’s low-fat, so I guess it’s not a bad thing!

Pompeii is coming along and we got part nine today. I haven’t printed it out yet, but since I’m still working on part 1, I guess that doesn’t really matter! I’m still really enjoying working on it. I haven’t picked out a project for the new family member coming in late November/early December yet. My brother and his wife just found out a week or so ago they are having another baby and we are so excited! I have five nephews and they have the only girl, so most of the family is wanting them to have another girl. I’m torn, but I think I’m hoping they have a boy. My brother is the only boy to carry on the family name and I think it would be really neat for him to have a son. I guess it doesn’t really matter what we hope for, God has that already planned out!
